Living in the HKSAR is an quite an experience!
I moved to Hong Kong in late October 2002 looking for something a little easier after a year in Moscow. The minute I got here I knew it was the place for me. Having established that much I then needed a job, a place to live, friends – in short a life! Despite SARS hitting the region in early 2003 when people and jobs became scarce I stuck around and so glad I did. Hong Kong provided all that I was looking for and more. Here I met my husband and had my daughter. It’s foreign enough to be interesting, quirky and at times frustrating, but it’s safe and it works! It’s also a great place for travelling to Asia and the Pacific.
