When: November 2005

Where: Columbo, Kandi,

How: We flew from Hong Kong to Columbo via Bangkok. We travelled around by tour bus.

Weather: warm and sunny

Food: Very good but very spicy!  lots of rice and curries.

Sights: The elephant sanctuary, the tea plantations, the batik workshops and cultural shows were particular highlights for me.  It had been less than a year since the devastating Tsunami of late 2004 so much damage could still be seen.
