The country of my birth.  Can’t really do the usual destination summary here as I have spent so much time there, and some of it I can’t even remember.

Places I have been to include:

skiing in Les Trois Vallees (Meribel, Courchevel & Les Menuirs and others).  These resorts are all inter-connected by ski lifts so with a 3 valley pass you can access miles and miles of slopes.

Paris: Been here on numerous occasions, with the family, on a school trip and on romantic weekends. I love the sights of the Eiffel Tower, The Arc de Triomph, the area of Montmartre and especially the museums (The Louvre, The Musee d’Orsay and the Rodin museum are some of my favourites).

The Loire Valley: beautiful countryside and river

The small village of Auvers-sur-Oise: the last home and burial of Vincent Van Gogh
