I have only spent 2 days in Botswana, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and it’s on my “Wish List”.  I went there during my African Overland trip in 1998.

How: on an overland trip with Truck Africa, travelling by truck, bus and camping. We went in overland from Zambia

Highlights: a short safari that in included seeing a herd of elephants cross a river (the smaller ones using their trunks as snorkels!) stunning!
